T-Ball

Brynna has played T-Ball this summer.

I am pretty sure they have won all of their games considering everyone hits...everyone scores...
everyone kicks dirt and puts their mitt on their head when it is HOT!

Brynna's best buddy Mya's mom and dad have been the coaches this year. We thank them for their extreme patience!

Strong City Rodeo

Friday night we went to the Strong City Rodeo!
Brian and I used to attend this Rodeo every year when we lived closer.
It has been a few years since we have taken the kids and we decided it was time to go again!

Friday night was also the Calf muggin' event for kids ages 6-8! Amazing enough...Breckyn was the first one to get a ribbon off a calf's tail!
She raked in $50!

Brynna got $2 for participating!

Once Calf muggin' was over they thought they were starved! SO Brynna got herself a BIG corndog. Her words were "Now THATS a corndog!"

Bro was completely fascinated with the whole thing. He got impatient in between events, but once the action started he was all eyes! He really like the steer wrestling! He also pointed to the BULL he thought he wanted to ride. "NO! not the black one....that one!"

We all had a great time! There is nothing more American to me than a good old fashion rodeo!

Baby Bed vs. Big Boy Bed

Brogan still sleeps in a Baby bed...That is until today!

Do you think that if the boy is old enough to unscrew the screws on his baby bed he is old enough to sleep in a Big Boy bed?

I Like my new bed...

Do I really have to sleep here?

You see Brogan is not a good sleeper anyway! He still, at 2 and a half, wakes up at least once a night! We kept him in a baby bed for so long because you see, even though he is a monkey...he doesn't know he can climb out of the baby bed! Therefore when he woke up in the night we just let him cry himself back to sleep! NOW with a big boy bed...he can get OUT!

Brynna had her FIRST dance recital Saturday night. She did an awesome job!

Brynna's 6th Birthday

This week Brynna turned 6!

We invited 6 little Friends over for a Fairy party!

We wore tutus, wings, flower halos and magic wands.

What did she get?

Pretty little fairies!

1st snow day

On Friday we had our 1st snow day of the school year!

What a snowy day it was.

We woke up to snow and wind and a forecast of 6-9 inches of snow by Saturday morning!

No matter what I said...or how cold I told them it was going to be....EVERYBODY had to go outside and play!

BUT why not? I had bought all 3 kids snow boots for Christmas!

Last week I was thinking the snow boots were going to make great garage sale items!

Hey, they all had fun playing in daddy's fort he made them.

They were wet and tired and ready to go back out in the morning!

17 inches of snow

This is what our house looked like this morning! They say we got 17 inches. With the wind we had 2-3 foot drifts in our driveway!

Brian and Bryar Rose got our early and made a path through the snow.















Brian built a fort for the kids while he was shoveling. When he finished he sat in it and envisioned it was a hot tub instead of a fort!
