Papa Harold got a NEW toy.
We all had to try it out!

Breckyn's Volleyball

Breckyn played volleyball for the first time this year and LOVED it!
She played on the 3rd and 4th grade team through the Rec.

Games were every Saturday.
They played against Claflin and Bushton's
3rd, 4th and 5th graders.

By the end of the season they were getting most serves over and even making 2-3 passes on one side to volley against the other team. I was sooooo proud of their improvement.
OH! Did I mention that I was the coach??

Happy 40th!

Brian turned 40 on the 4th of October. We had a (kind of)
surprise birthday party for him.
I say kind of because do you know how hard it is for 3 girls to keep a secret???

Our friends from Abilene came down! It was sure good to have them around. We took a moment to take a pic of the beauties!

Part way through the night we ran out of Bahama Mama's! So we all loaded into Jennifer's expedition and headed to the liqiuor store!
If you can't tell, we really didn't need any more!!

Now, we wait for the next friend to turn 40 and then we get to celebrate AGAIN!

Cowboy Family

Over the 4th of July we were going to have the kids participate in a Circuit Horse show. Breckyn was going to do halter and showmanship.
Brynna was going to do leadline. This is where she and daddy had to dress alike and daddy would lead her in the arena to be judged.
Brogan and Papa were also going to do leadline.
We spent Thursday and Friday riding horses, cleaning them up, and preparing for the show. The show was in Lyndon and we were going to have to leave EARLY!

LONG story short...it was cancelled!!! So we went ahead and got dressed in our show out fits and took pictures!

I thought we got some good ones!

Well, on the up side...there will be another show
NEXT 4th of July!

(Hope our clothes still fit!)
